MATCH TYPES

Choose the rules before you start

STANDARD GRPL MATCHOne 7-minute round. A tied score continues with Golden Score after a 2-minute break.
SUBMISSION ROUNDS MATCHFive 5-minute rounds. A point ends the current round. Scores stay cumulative.
ALPHA MATCHTen 5-minute point-ending rounds. A fighter also wins immediately at a 5-point lead.
IRONMAN 15 OR 30One long round with one timeout per fighter. A tie continues automatically into Golden Score.
CUSTOM MATCHChoose 1-10 rounds and set whole minutes for round and break time. Select either point-ending rounds or optional Golden Score.

Point-ending matches use extra rounds

If the cumulative score is tied after all planned rounds, a 2-minute break and an extra full round follow. This repeats until there is a winner.

HELP

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Controller and Scoreboard?

Controller is the private operator interface on a phone. Scoreboard is the public display for names, timer, scores, winner and sponsors.

Why can’t I change a fighter name or colour?

Names and colours are editable only during SETUP. If the match is ready or running, reset it before making changes.

When do the score buttons appear?

They appear after START MATCH. They remain available while the match is running or paused.

Can I connect multiple scoreboards?

Yes. Choose JOIN EXISTING MATCH on each extra display and enter the same six-digit scoreboard code.

Where can I find the scoreboard code?

Scroll to the final Scoreboard Connection card at the bottom of Controller.

What is the recovery code for?

It restores control on another phone. Save it privately when the match is created.

What happens if the connection drops?

The pages retry automatically. Wait for the connection to recover before pressing a score button again, so you do not award a point twice.

How do I keep the controller phone awake?

Controller requests permission to keep the screen awake. If the phone blocks this, increase the device’s screen timeout manually.

How does a tied match end?

Standard and eligible Custom matches use Golden Score. Ironman continues immediately into Golden Score. Point-ending formats use full extra rounds after 2-minute breaks. A Custom Match without either rule finishes as a draw.

Can I use an Ironman timeout during Golden Score?

Yes, if that fighter has not used the one available timeout. The operator must resume the match manually afterwards.

How do I correct the wrong score?

Use the small −1 button below the correct fighter. Scores cannot go below zero.

Why are sponsors not visible?

Sponsor display may be disabled globally in Admin. When disabled, the fighter score areas automatically use the extra space.

Why do I hear no round bell?

Select ENTER FULLSCREEN on the Scoreboard and check the laptop or speaker volume. The bell plays only on Scoreboards, not on the Controller. The direct Ironman transition into Golden Score is intentionally silent.

The page layout looks wrong. What should I try?
  • Refresh the page.
